Tiny Talk with Camilla Wynne
Tell us who you are and what you do?
My name is Camilla Wynne. I'm a cookbook author, recipe developer, writer, and cooking teacher specializing in preserving and pastry. I also play in a band called Sunset Rubdown.
What did you learn from 2023 that you want to take with you into 2024?
Besides learning a lot about parenting (I have a 1.5 year old), I learned to play music again. My old band got back together after breaking up 13 years ago. It pays to stay open to new experiences and learn that life is absolutely full of surprises.
What are you currently obsessed with?
I mean, it's the holidays, so I am fully cookie-obsessed at the moment. I have given out all my cookie boxes and am currently really looking forward to a post-Christmas cookie swap with a bunch of fellow bakers. Keep the cookies flowing as long as possible. I'm planning on making Bronwen Wyatt's panettone cookies (you must subscribe to her newsletter) and possibly the whipped shortbread from my book, Jam Bake. I'm in love with Tim Mazurek's cookie manifesto as well.
